China is on the way back to normality – while the corona crisis in Europe is just reaching its peak. Already during the “lockdown” it became clear in the Middle Kingdom: The big winner of the crisis was digitization, including online trading. The growth figures in this area are above average. Even the government is driving new online businesses like cloud supermarkets, cloud entertainment, and cloud education offerings. The first foreign brands recognize the trend in the consumer goods sector. Even those who previously used brick-and-mortar sales are now turning around. They all want to benefit from the booming online sales.
What new opportunities are there for German companies? Does the development only affect the consumer goods sector?
To answer these and other questions, the China Competence Center of the IHK Frankfurt am Main and Darmstadt is organizing a webinar together with the AHK Greater China and Melchers on May 13, 2020.
